Casino Surveillance News is now offering online training classes. These classes will be announced and scheduled on this page in the tables below.
Specific classes or series can be arranged with minimum lead time for casino surveillance and security departments at your desired times. Inquire at webinar@casinosurveillancenews.com Scheduling Classes: Contact Jim Goding at this address: webinar@casinosurveillancenews.com With an idea of which classes you wish to run for your casino Surveillance or Security, state or Indian Gaming Regulatory personnel, or management area. The classes will be set up to run at your convenient times. You will not need to download or install any software in order to participate in the classes. You will need only a computer with internet connection (Internet Explorer, Firefox or Netscape; or Mac with appropriate internet software) and a long-distance phone line or internet Voice connection such as Skype to provide audio. Facilities will be provided for questions and answers via chat or voice link during and immediately after the presentation.
Costs for departmental training classes are based upon five times the price for an individual. This covers as many people as you want. Discounts are available for those departments who are willing to commit to three or more classes, prepaid. Further discount is available if the client approves open enrollment for individuals and other casinos.
Additional written materials are supplied at no cost through email attachment. If hard copies are desired, there is a $10 charge per copy to cover printing and shipping costs.
With a paid commitment, and approval by the people paying for the class, I will open classes to individual participants and other casinos. Approval for open enrollment reduces cost.
The list of classes will continue to both expand and repeat, making more classes available. I will schedule future classes with commitment for paid participation. I require at least three paid participants in order to set up a class.
Keep in touch through this page and periodic announcements in the Newsletter and Training Opportunities letters.
Prices are based upon the amount of time and significant material to be delivered. Many of our original seminars--designed for on-site presentation--must be delivered in shorter increments: For example, the eight-hour Blackjack seminar is seven classes. Your department may not need all of them.
The same applies to each of the Game seminar classes: Each has a basic class on the game itself and a class on how the game can be cheated and how to detect and prevent cheating and theft.
