Online Training Survey: Basic Information:
Please respond to this survey by email to consultant@casinosurveillancenews.com
Casino Surveillance News is looking into the viability of providing online training classes. Whether to provide this service and how to go about it is the subject of this survey. This would be a paid service: each person attending the seminar would be paying for the class, or it could be specially provided for a department at a time of client choice. Original presentations would be done in an interactive format, allowing for questions and clarifications. Attendees at the classes would have to be able to provide verification that they are working in the casino industry in a Security, Surveillance or Gaming Regulation position before payment would be accepted or registration and access to the class is provided. I will do this through email: a company email address, such as your own, or a Human Resources address that could be used to verify employment. If you are currently between jobs, some other method of verifying the fact that you work in casino Surveillance, Security, Gaming regulation, or other position can be worked out. At least to begin, the seminars would be set up to be one to one and a half hour long. It would require a paid entry to the seminar, provided through a web service, and a long-distance telephone connection. At least to begin, a standard dial-up internet connection would be sufficient. Later seminars may require a high-speed internet hookup (DSL or Cable). Special setups for casino surveillance and security departments or gaming regulators could be done so that the seminars could be provided at a specific time for a department, either on the basis of viewing a recording or an interactive presentation class.

People who respond to this original survey may receive additional questions as emails from consultant@casinosurveillancenews.com (me). I will try to keep additional traffic to a minimum. I am attempting to set up a new service in the most convenient and viable method for my subscribers, and in order to do this I need feedback and communication.
Comments or suggestions are welcome.
